Clubs Poker, one of the most popular sweepstakes poker sites catering to players in over 40 US states, is turning up the heat with another exciting tournament series!

Kicking off today, Sunday, May 25, and lasting until June 1, the Mixed Game National Championship features 40 distinct events and 16,000 SC in guaranteed prizes. The series, which has been long in the works, plays into one of the operator’s biggest strengths: a vast variety of poker variations.

Players on Clubs Poker will get to enjoy non-stop action over the course of a week, with every day featuring five tournaments. There is something new to pick each and every day, with variations like PLO, O8, HORSE, HOSE, TORSE, and OctoMix.

Everyone’s Invited to the Mixed Game National Championship

Although mixed games have seen a huge rise in popularity in recent years, they remain a niche option compared to Texas Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha.

With that in mind, Clubs Poker has structured its Mixed Game National Championship so that it is welcoming to everyone. Whether you’re an experienced grinder or someone just entering the vast world of countless poker variants, you can get involved.

All tournaments feature entry fees between 5.5 SC and 22 SC, making them very affordable, even at the higher end. The series is a great way for those looking to dip their toes into new poker waters to do so under more than acceptable conditions.

Mixed game events have been running over at Clubs Poker since the operator launched a few months back. However, this is the first time they get an entire series, and it is hopefully a sign of things to come.

Fun Daily Schedule

As mentioned, every day between May 25 and June 1 will see five events take place, starting between 19:30 ET and 23:30 ET, with a new tournament starting every hour.

Event guarantees are fairly modes, starting from 150 SC for 5.5 SC events and going up to 600 SC for 22 SC tournaments. One notable exception to this is the 22 SC 8-Game Main Event on Sunday, June 1, which will dish out at least 1,000 SC in prizes.

As far as poker variants on offer during the series are concerned, you’ll have a chance to test your skills in games like:

  • 8-Game
  • HORSE
  • Triple Stud
  • Big Bet Mix
  • HOSE
  • HA
  • Triple Hold’em
  • TORSE
  • Triple Draw Mix
  • OctaMix (Clubs Poker’s own take on an eight-game mix featuring some fun variations)

It is worth mentioning that there will be a Gold Coin series running alongside as well, so for those players who are primarily looking to get some practice and maybe learn the ropes of some of these games, it’s an excellent opportunity to do so.

Poker fans in the United States rarely get a shot to show their mixed game skills. Outside of the few regulated states where PokerStars US has its presence, options are very limited.

Thus, it is great to see Clubs Poker bringing some variety to the proceedings with its Mixed Game National Championship. Hopefully, this is just the first of many similar series, with future ones bringing even more tournaments, bigger guarantees, and even more reason to enter the fray!
