WSOP US Sites: Where Can I Play?
WSOP.com is licensed in three states:
WSOP US is the only regulated operator to have a presence in all four states that currently have live online poker. In Nevada, WSOP.com is the only site with no competition, while in the other three states (NJ, MI, PA) it shares the player pool with the likes of PokerStars US and BetMGM Poker US.
Players in New Jersey and Nevada get to play in a combined player pool, which helps significantly boost the player traffic and allows the operator to run big tournaments. This is the main reason why WSOP NJ/NV players get to play in many more bracelet events than those in Michigan and Pennsylvania.
WSOP Nevada

WSOP Pennsylvania
WSOP.com entered Pennsylvania in July 2021, a full year after PokerStars PA. This made the start more difficult for the operator, as their main competitor had plenty of time to corner the market. However, WSOP PA went live with its new Poker 8 software, and this was possibly the main reason for the wait.
As of right now, WSOP PA is a ring-fenced platform, catering players from Pennsylvania only and not sharing player pools with any of its existing rooms. PA is also not a member of the MSIGA just yet, so it may take some time before any positive developments in that department.

WSOP US Online Tournaments

WSOP.com Weekly MTT Schedule
Players on WSOP.com can find regular tournament action every day of the week, with buy-ins starting as low as $1. Of course, the best weekly events happen on the weekends, especially on Sundays.
Every day, there is at least one event with a guaranteed prize pool of $10,000 and the entry of $215. For those who can’t quite afford this buy-in level, there are regular events with entries from $5 – $20 and guarantees of up to a few grand.

In Pennsylvania and Michigan, where WSOP.com has switched to the new software platform, players can also enjoy regular Mystery Bounty events, and these are often a part of big series as well. WSOP Online Bracelet & Ring Events
The thing that perhaps attract players to WSOP US more than anything else is something that no other US online poker site can offer – bracelet and ring-awarding tournaments.
In all four states that WSOP.com is active, players can participate in a number of official WSOP tournaments where winners receive bracelets, as well as numerous WSOPC events where every winner gets a WSOP ring.
When it comes to bracelet events, these are usually hosted alongside the live World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. Players on the combine NJ/NV platform get a shot at a few dozen bracelets, while PA and MI rooms offer several bracelets (usually seven or eight each).
On top of this, there is a regular online WSOP series, with more bracelet tournaments. However, in 2023, WSOP significantly reduced the number of these events outside of NJ/NV, with PA and MI players only getting a shot at one additional bracelet.
The WSOP Circuit Series is a constant feature across all sites, with several events available throughout the year. These aren’t for everyone’s pockets as buy-ins range $215 – $1,000, but guaranteed prize pools are between $20,000 and $100,000, and winners can also look forward to WSOPC rings, which certainly adds a lot of value to these tournaments.
Cash Game Action at WSOP.com
The variety of game options at WSOP US is somewhat limited, especially when compared to the main competitor, PokerStars. Here, you’ll find only Texas Hold’em (no limit and limit) and Omaha (Pot Limit and Fixed Limit).
When it comes to stakes, the action starts at $0.01/$0.02 and goes all the way up to $100/$200. However, games regularly run up to $5/$10, while it’s not common to see any significant action beyond those stakes.
The traffic on the site is decent, especially during major MTT series, and there are always at least a few tables of NL200 going.
If PLO is more your cup of tea, you’ll have some options, although the very lowest and the very highest tables aren’t very popular. The range between PLO50 and PLO200 seems to be the sweet spot.
WSOP US Blast
Like all other poker sites in the US, WSOP.com has its own version of jackpot sit and go games, and you’ll find these under the name ‘BLAST.’ These games have their own lobby in the client, so you’ll have no problems getting to them and jumping into the action.
Not surprisingly, BLAST games are quite popular with the players, so if you enjoy sit-and-goes, these are your best bet. They are three-handed games with a randomly assigned win multiplier, ranging from 2x to 10,000x the buy-in.

Compare to the competition, WSOP US is certainly more generous with max multipliers in these games, so players keen on chasing unlikely big scores are easier to find on the site, which helps make BLAST sit and goes somewhat softer.
WSOP.com Software
When it comes to the software, WSOP US is somewhat unique. The operator uses software provided by 888, their interactive partner, but players in different states have access to different platforms.
In Michigan and Pennsylvania, WSOP.com uses the latest version of the 888 software, which is very modern and polished. In Nevada and New Jersey (the shared player pool), the old software version is still in use, and it’s not clear when players can expect the new client.
The new WSOP US software looks good, albeit it is still not nearly as rich as that of PokerStars US. On the other hand, it is at least comparable to BetMGM Poker / Borgata, and it certainly has a more modern feel to it.
The platform is easy to navigate, with all main sections easily accessible from the menu on the left side. Individual lobbies feature useful filters for game categories, types, buy-in ranges, and speed (for MTTs). You can also filter out running, completed, and still registering tournaments.
When it comes to the experience at the tables, WSOP US offers some neat personalization features and the overall outlay is quite clean, which makes playing multiple tables much easier.
On the overall, the software does the job more than well, even if there are some improvements that could be made. The only question that remains is when this software will be rolled out in New Jersey and Nevada, as the platform still in use there is quite outdated and certainly not up to 2023 standards.
WSOP.com Mobile Apps
WSOP US is one of the leaders in the online poker market, so it is no surprise the operator offers standalone mobile poker apps for Android and iOS devices for those who want to take their games on the go. However, the mobile solution leaves something to be desired on both platforms.
WSOP US Android App
You can download the WSOP.com mobile app straight from the Google Play store and install it onto your device without any problems. The app offers decent enough graphics and the old-style landscape view, which some players still prefer.
The app still comes short in certain areas, however. The biggest drawback is that you can only take one table at the time. Additionally, only No Limit Hold’em cash games and tournaments are available, while you can’t play any PLO games, which certainly takes away from the experience.
WSOP.com iPhone App
WSOP doesn’t discriminate between users based on their technological preferences. A standalone app is also available for iPhone and you can get it from the App Store. Just like the Android one, downloading and installing the software is easy enough.
The WSOP US iPhone app will give you access to your cashier, promotions, and all NLHE cash games and tournaments on the site. But, just like the Android counterpart, it doesn’t let you access any of the PLO games.
These things should change for the better once the operator switches fully to the new software platform across the board and introduces the new mobile client. For the time being, though, it must be said that the mobile app comes with quite a few restrictions that hinder your ability to enjoy online poker the way you want.
WSOP US Poker Banking Options: Deposits & Withdrawals
One of the biggest advantages of regulated US poker sites is the ease of money transfers. WSOP.com, like the rest of them, gives players an opportunity to make their deposits and withdraw their funds without any issues, using a variety of safe and reputable methods.
It needs to be mentioned that the availability of options will vary from one state to the next, as not all options are available across all four platforms. On the overall, however, you should have no problems getting money to and from the site regardless of where you play from or what your preferences might be.
