What is a Reverse Tell in Poker?
A reverse tell in poker is a deliberate action a poker player makes in order to mislead their opponents. The goal of the reverse tell is to indicate certain behaviors or actions that would make another player believe that they’ve picked up information through a tell.

One of the most common tactics in poker is to act weak when you have a strong hand. In this case, a reverse tell would be to act strong when you actually have a strong hand. This is something nobody expects, especially if you set up this reverse tell with previous behavior.
