Shootout

A shootout is a type of poker tournament in which only the winner of a table moves on to the next tournament round. This continues until the final table, until one player wins it all.

Shootout Poker Example:

A poker shootout tournament might have a hundred players, divided into ten tables, each with ten players. Players at each table will play until only one remains. Then, the winner of each of the ten tables will advance to a new ten-handed table and play again to determine the winner of the tournament.
