Wrap

A wrap is a term used in Omaha poker to a straight draw with more than eight outs. The strongest wrap draw in Omaha has a maximum of 20 outs. Wraps are crucial in Omaha and are considered dominant hands.

However, the more outs doesn’t necessarily mean the better. This is because nut outs are more valuable than wraps with non-nut outs.

Wrap Poker Example:

You’re playing an Omaha game and have an 8762 hand while the board reads T93. In this case, you have a 13-out wrap, with three nut outs.
