The 888poker Millions SuperStorm $2 Million Guaranteed is Back

For the third time in history, 888poker, one of the most famous online poker rooms worldwide, will be hosting the Millions Superstorm series.
The Series features 30 side events with one million in total prize money and a $1,000,000 main event, and will be held from February 13th until March 8 across 888poker skins.
The original Millions Superstorm on 888poker ran two years ago. Players had to complete all sorts of daily ”missions” in a very gamified way.
Think of participating in free rolls, spin wheels etc. to eventually participate in the Millions Superstorm, basically being a $1MM GTD tournament with loads of participants.
Eight months after the initial Millions Superstorm promo, 888poker held another promotion, this time with an additional $8 million in guaranteed tournament prizes. This was 888poker's biggest poker tournament series ever held.
This year there will be no daily ”missions” to do or anything like that. There will just be three weeks of special tournament events, with a total of $2 million in prize money.
What also should be noted, is that there are way fewer events compared to last Millions Superstorm, with only a few dailies and two big weekly tournaments.
In total there will be 30 events of which the daily $15k guaranteed PKO tournament is the most noticeable one.
Players can participate in this year’s 888Poker Millions Superstorm event by buying in directly for $15 or join satellite tournaments with lower buy-ins to eventually work their way up to the main event.
There will also be some freeroll satellites taking place for players with lower bankrolls.
The buy-ins for the multi-phase events range from $11 to $109 in the beginning of the promotion and will rise to $33 to $215 and $55 to $1050 at later stages of the event.
888Poker Millions SuperStorm Breakdown
This Sunday the 888Poker Millions SuperStorm tournament will launch with Daily Millions $55 buy-in $15k GTD events.
During the next three weeks, the average prize money of each major event will be about $70k. The tournament schedule looks as following:
Flights for the Millions SuperStorm Main Event will be available from February 27, with satellite tournaments for the main event already starting from Day 1.
Note that players with a lower bankroll can actually secure themselves a $1,050 ticket completely free by participating in the daily freeroll satellite tournaments.
The entire tournament can be viewed live on the 888pokerTV Twitch channel, for those interested to backseat a bit. During the live stream 888poker will be giving away free entry tickets for upcoming events, so it might be worth it to check out the stream.
Overall we expect some serious action on the tables the upcoming weeks at 888poker, all whilst celebrating the 20th birthday of this major online poker room.
