Earlier this month, CoinPoker launched 4-Hours Leaderboards, a new promo geared toward cash game players, allowing everyone to pick up a share of $10,000 in daily prizes.
Only a few weeks in, and following on the players’ feedback, the operator decided to split the leaderboards in two stake categories, also adding $2,000 in daily prizes to bring the total prize pool to $12,000 every single day.
Starting from Monday, July 28, all cash game players at CoinPoker will have even more reason to hit the tables and put in the volume to ensure their name gets on the list. It’s a great way to make your sessions more fun and give your bankroll a nice boost at the same time.

More Value & More Opportunities for All
With the new setup in place, players across all stakes will have better chances to get in on the action and claim a piece of generous daily prize pools.
Originally, there was just one leaderboard starting every four hours. All players competed for the leaderboard prize pool, and points were calculated based on the stakes.
This gave clear advantage to higher stakes players, making the whole promo less appealing to low-stakes grinders.
CoinPoker kept its ear to the ground, listened to the players’ criticism, and decided to act quickly to rectify things. So, starting from the next week, 4-Hour Leaderboards will have two tiers:
- NL/PLO 100+ stakes – $9,000 in daily prizes
- NL/PLO 50 and below stakes – $3,000 in daily prizes
This means that players who put in a majority of their volume at low and micro stakes now have a fair shot and something to play for without having to compete with higher-stakes players. Plus, the operator added an extra $3,000, making the promo even more valuable across the board.
Every Hand Counts at CoinPoker
CoinPoker has quickly grown to become the number one cryptocurrency poker site around. A lot of its success can be attributed to promotions such as 4-Hours Leaderboards, where the operator gives back a part of its proceeds back to the player pool.
The latest change to the promo makes it even more attractive across the board, as lower stakes grinders will no longer feel left behind. They now get their own leaderboards, and this seems like the correct way to do things.
Leaderboard points are earned for every big blind you put into a pot, which means that the promo rewards players who put in the volume and bring the action to the tables. It’s a great way to entice players to play longer and get involved with wider ranges.
CoinPoker will be updating its website with all the details about the new rules shortly, but this is great news for all those working with smaller bankrolls and looking to build their way to higher stakes.
Every hand you play between tomorrow and September 7, when the promo officially ends, will be more valuable!
