Clubs Poker is at it again, bringing plenty of reason for US players to get excited. Starting next week, the operator will host the Omaha National Championship, a week-long series featuring 32 main tournaments and a few dozen side events.

As the name of the series suggests, the Great Game of Omaha will be at the center of attention, with its many different types and variations, creating an interesting and exciting mix to keep the players on their toes.

The Omaha National Championship at Clubs Poker will run Feb 16 – 23, with a series of freeroll tournaments taking place this week and giving you a chance to win free seats to main events and claim your share of over 50,000 Sweeps Coins in guarantees.

Colorful Schedule & Affordable Buy-ins

The Omaha-centric series features eight days full of action, with four tournaments on the schedule every single day.

As mentioned, the operator is keeping things interesting with tournaments featuring a bunch of different variations, including your classic PLO, PLO8, No Limit Omaha, Five and Six-Card Omaha, Courchevel, Limit Omaha H/L, and much more.

Tournament entries start at 6 SC and go up to 33 SC. The PLO Main Event on Sunday, Feb 23, has the entry of 55 SC and a big guarantee of 5,000 SC. Guarantees for other tournaments range from 600 SC to 3,000 SC.

In addition to different game variations, the series features different formats, too, with plenty of bounty action added to the mix. So, it looks like there is an action-filled week ahead of us.

Clubs Poker Omaha National Championship Highlights

As mentioned, every day will see four tournaments take place, with the action kicking off at 19:30 ET. After that, a new tournament kicks off every hour, with the last event of the day starting at 22:30.

Here’s an overview of some of the most interesting tournaments you should check out:

  • 6.6 SC Deep Six Events – taking place every day with 600 SC GTD & 1,000 GTD on Feb 23
  • Feb 16 & 21 – 33 SC PLO with 3,000 SC GTD
  • Feb 17 – 22 SC Bounty No Limit Omaha with 2,000 SC GTD
  • Feb 18 – 33 SC Five-Card Omaha with 3,000 SC GTD
  • Feb 19 – 11 SC Big O with 1,000 SC GTD
  • Feb 23 – 22 SC PLO8 with 2,000 GTD
  • Feb 23 – 55 SC PLO Main Event with 5,000 SC GTD

Freeroll Your Way to Big Prize Pools

While entries for the Omaha National Championship are fairly reasonable, even if you don’t have a bankroll on Clubs Poker, you can still get involved with the action.

Namely, the operator is running four freerolls every day, with the first one taking place at 19:30 ET. Every one of these tournaments is free to enter and open to all players, offering two seats for the target main event.

Freerolls are running all the way up to the main series, with the last four taking place on Saturday, Feb 15, so there is still more than enough time to get involved and try to win some free entries.

This is a particularly good choice if you’re new to these different Omaha variations and you want to give them a try without any concerns. Join the action, see how you like it, and, with a bit of luck, you may end up qualifying for one or two main tournaments for a shot at some free Sweeps Coins.

So, there you have it. A week of big Omaha action is just around the corner, so refresh your knowledge of the rules for some of the less-known variations, dust off your grinding gear, and get ready to rumble!
