BetMGM Poker is bringing some quality tournament action across all the states it is licensed in. Players in Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania will have an opportunity to enjoy a week filled with various tournaments in the upcoming Poker Mania series.

Poker Mania at BetMGM Poker US will kick off on Sunday, March 10, and will last until March 17, bringing a rich tournament schedule and $300,000 in guarantees in each of the three states.

Each schedule features 26 individual events with buy-ins ranging from $50 to $500. In addition to cash prizes, the operator will be treating all winners in the events with a buy-in of $250 or more with a custom BetMGM Poker basketball jersey.

March Poker Mania Highlights

As predicted, US online poker sites are going all out on tournament action this March. WSOP.com announced its Deepstack Series a few days back, and that series will wrap up just as Poker Mania kicks off at BetMGM Poker US.

All players are welcome to join the action, whether they already have an account with the site or not. It takes only a couple of minutes to register with BetMGM and be good to go.

As mentioned, there are 26 events on the schedule for each: Pennsylvania, Michigan, and New Jersey. The buy-ins start at $50 and go up to $500, while guarantees range from $3,000 to $50,000. In total, each series will award at least $300,000 in prizes.

The $500 March Mania Finals is the Main Event, taking place on Sunday, March 17, and offering the biggest individual guarantee of $50,000. This is a standard No Limit Hold’em tournament with a slow structure (12-minute levels) and unlimited reentries for the first 18 levels.

Apart from the Main Event, there are three more tournaments with guarantees of $20,000+, namely:

• Event #1 on March 10 – $250 Tip-Off with $25,000 GTD
• Event #9 on March 12 – $500 Slam Dunk PKO with $20,000 GTD
• Event #24 on March 17 $250 And-One PKO with $20,000 GTD

As evident from event names and the fact that BetMGM is giving away custom jerseys to all those who book a win in events with a buy-in of $250+, Poker Mania is a basketball-inspired series designed to attract serious grinders and casual fans of the game alike.

Although most tournaments are played as NLHE, there are a few picks for PLO fans as well, most notably the $50 Fast Break PLO Turbo on March 12 and the $250 Halftime PLO on March 13. Event #21 on March 16 combines the attraction of PLO with always-popular PKO action.

Overall, the Poker Mania series is a bit on the more expensive side, with the lowest buy-ins coming at $50 and a majority of tournaments boasting an entry fee between $100 and $250.
