Sunday, Jan 12, will see the richest action of the 2025 Winter Series with four Main Events taking place on that day, dishing out at least $200,000 in guaranteed money.
Unlike most events of the series, which feature three buy-in orbits, the Main Event has four, namely:
- Low: $5 buy-in & $1,500 GTD
- Mid: $50 buy-in & $7,500 GTD
- High: $500 buy-in & $75,000 GTD
- Super: $5,000 buy-in & $125,000 GTD
The combined prize pool of these four Main Events is over $200,000, although High and Super events may be outside most casual players’ bankrolls. Luckily, there are many satellites running around the clock, where you can have a shot at your spot while spending much less.
As is customary, all tournaments will kick off at the same time, starting at 19:05 GMT. So whether you play one, two, three, or all four, the action will start simultaneously.
Sunday Treat for PLO Players
The four Main Events feature No Limit Texas Hold’em, which is no surprise. However, fans of Pot Limit Omaha have something to look forward to on Sunday as well.
Namely, starting just ten minutes after Hold’em tournaments are four PLO Main Events:
- Low: $2 buy-in & $200 GTD
- Mid: $25 buy-in & $1.000 GTD
- High: $200 buy-in & $10,000 GTD
- Super: $2,000 buy-in & $50,000 GTD
While guarantees are significantly smaller, these tournaments are still a nice opportunity for all those who enjoy the Great Game of PLO to get in the mix.
Other Marquee Tournaments on Offer
Apart from Main Events, there are still quite a few interesting tournaments on the CoinPoker Winter Series schedule.
Looking at the Saturday action, three Turbo Phoenix PKO events with buy-ins of $5, $50, and $200, and guarantees of $1,000, $5,000, and $9,000, respectively, offer great value for money. Given the fact these are also PKO tournaments, there will be no lack of action.
On Sunday, in addition to the Mains, three Coinmaster tournaments are definitely worth checking out. This applies in particular to the High version, which brings a guarantee of $17,500 for a $100 buy-in.
