WPT Global Spring Festival Hosting a WPT Prime Event

This spring has been very rich in poker tournament series, with all major operators hosting big events. Now, WPT Global, a relative newcomer to the scene, joins the action with their second-ever series.

Running May 21 – June 4, the WPT Global Spring Championship features 84 tournaments and offers a wide scope of buy-ins, starting as low as $1 and going all the way up to $2,500. In total, the series guarantees $1.25 million in prizes.

In addition to your everyday tournaments, the Spring Championship will play host to two special events. The first-ever online WPT Prime championship takes place May 28 – June 4, while the opening weekend featured an online WPT500 event.

Something for Everyone

As already mentioned, the series schedule features tournaments of all buy-in levels, catering to all players, regardless of their bankroll size.

The lineup features several poker variants, including NLH, PLO, and Short Deck, and combines them with exciting tournament formats such as Progressive Knockout (PKO), regular bounties, hyper-turbos, and more.

The WPT Global Spring Festival features two buy-in tiers for all the events on the schedule. For every higher buy-in tournament, there is its lower buy-in counterpart. Of course, you’re welcome to play in all of the events.

Your Shot at a WPT Prime Title

While all tournaments on the schedule come with attractive guarantees, the $1,060 WPT Prime event is the highlight of the Festival.

Offering at least $200,000 in prizes and a chance to win a prestigious WPT Prime title from the comfort of your home, the tournament will schedule as many as 10 starting flights between May 28 and June 4.
