Spring is usually a good period for all fans of online poker tournaments, and this year has been no exception. The action has been fast and furious all over the shot, and now 888poker will be joining the fray.

Namely, tomorrow, May 21, the operator will kick off its Spring XL Series, featuring a remarkable guaranteed prize pool of $2,000,000.

There will be plenty of action across all buy-in levels, including the $500,000 GTD Main Event. 888poker has put in the effort to make the buy-ins quite affordable, so all players will have the ability to take a shot at some big prizes.

Plenty of Mystery Bounty Action

The Mystery Bounty format has captured the hearts and imaginations of live and online poker players alike in recent months. Keeping up with the trends, 888poker has featured plenty of MB events, and this will continue for the XL Spring Series.

Event #19, featuring a $160 buy-in and a guarantee of $200k, is certainly the most interesting one in the Mystery Bounty category. The tournament will kick off on May 24, but players will have plenty of opportunity to join the Day 1 action through May 28.

All the survivors will come together for Day 2 on May 29, while the final table action will take place the next day, and it will be streamed live on the 888poker TV Twitch channel.

If you’re anxious to get the grind on, there is also the $109 Mystery Bounty taking place on Sunday, May 21. Dubbed the Mystery Bounty Opening, the tournament features three tiers, namely:

• $55 Mini Opening with $55,000 GTD
• $109 Opening with $120,000 GTD
• $525 HR Opening with $40,000 GTD

Of course, this is just a fraction of the full schedule. The Spring XL Series action will run until June 6, offering several tournaments every day. For those with lower bankrolls, there are plenty of events in the $11 – $22 buy-in region, with guarantees going as high as $20,000.

$500,000 up for Grabs in the Main Event

The XL Series Main Event is, naturally, the biggest and most rewarding tournament on the docket. The buy-in is just $250, so there is plenty of value to be found.

You will have ample opportunities to make your way into Day 2, as starting flights will run every day from May 31 to June 5.

Players will reconvene on June 5 for the Day 2 action, and those who make it all the way to the final table will return the next day to play down to the champion. The Main Event FT action will be streamed on 888poker TV as well.
