XL Winter Series, one of 888poker’s trademark tournament festivals, is back for another installment, running January 15 – 30 and announcing a strong start to the year for the internationally renowned poker operator.

The Series will feature a total guaranteed prize pool of $2,500,000, a whole million more than last year, promising an even more competitive and exciting festival of online poker.

With dozens of tournaments scheduled for the 17 day period of play, the 888poker Series will culminate in a massive $500,000 Mystery Bounty Main Event. The tournament will include Day 1 flights running between January 25 and 30.

While the Main Event will be the flagship of the Winter Series, numerous other tournaments will mark every single day of the festival.

888poker XL Winter Series Highlights

The big highlight of the XL Winter Series at 888poker will be the $250 Main Event, a mystery bounty tournament with a massive $500k guaranteed prize pool and huge bounties up for grabs.

You will have an opportunity to buy in for the event directly between January 25 and 30, or play one of the many online poker satellites offered in the client.

This includes the daily Freeroll events giving away tickets for the big one.

Besides the Main Event, the XL Winter Series will offer up to a dozen separate events each day, with buy-ins ranging from just $5.50 all the way up to $2,100 for the Super High Roller event.

The festival will kick off with a $109 Mystery Bounty Opening event featuring a $120,000 prize pool and plenty of bounties to go around.

The multi-day $160 Mystery Bounty 8-Max will have Day 1s running between January 19 and 23, giving you a chance to win a share of the $200,000 guaranteed prize pool.

High rollers will have ample opportunities to win big as well, with multiple events with buy-ins of $109 or more, including the $1,050 High Roller on January 21 and the $2,100 Super High Roller on January 29.

The XL Winter Series guarantees that more than $2,500,000 will be given away in prize money. A big chunk of this will be paid through mystery bounties, the most popular format on the Series schedule.
