The PartyPoker MILLIONS Online series is now behind us, and it was one of the more successful series thrown by the operator in recent times.

Featuring almost an entire month packed with tournament action across all stakes, the series offered generous guarantees and ample opportunities for all MTT fans out there.

Now the dust has settled and all events are officially done and dusted, and PartyPoker can look back at things and be quite happy with the final result. All of the marquee events met and exceed their guarantees, which is usually a hallmark of a successful series.

Two Successful Main Events

For the 2024 edition of the MILLIONS Online, the operator threw two Main Events. The first one had a $530 buy-in and came with a guarantee of $500,000, while the second, the Mini Main Event, offered a much more affordable $55 entry fee and still a generous promise of $150,000.

Both Main Events had multiple starting flights scattered throughout May and early June, giving players many opportunities to secure their seats in Day 2. Things culminated with the Day 3 action, which took place on June 5.

Additionally, both tournaments featured the popular progressive knockout format (PKO), allowing players to win some money along the way via eliminations.

In the end, the $530 Main Event attracted a total of 1,112 entries, beating its initial guarantee for $56,000. Adrian Delmas, the eventual winner, took home over $76,000 in combined prizes.

The $55 Mini Main Event ended up with 3,056 entrants, which was enough to break the guarantee as well, with the final prize pool standing at $152,825. The winner’s title in this one went to Cesar Augusto De Andrade who cashed for a total of just over $14,000.

There was another tournament with the “Main Event” prefix, and that was the $215 PLO Main Event. This was the only marquee tournament that failed to meet its guarantee, as it ended up with 345 entries and a prize pool of $69,000, which was a bit short of the original $75,000 promise.

Another Great Series in the Books

It was great to see PartyPoker throwing a big online series and generating some attention from the players. All in all, MILLIONS Online were a big success, despite a few smaller tournaments not reaching their guarantees.

Apart from Main Events, another tournament worth mentioning was the $215 6-Max Championship. This event also featured a guarantee of $150,000 and managed to break it, with the final number of entries standing at 766 for the prize pool of $153,200.

It was one Joel Diaz who emerged victorious in the end, pocketing $21,818 for his efforts.

The Mini version of this same event had a buy-in of $33 and a somewhat ambitious guarantee of $75,000. That particular expectation did not come true, as the event ended up attracting 1,921 players for the final prize pool of $57,630.

The operator thus had to cover a few overlays along the way, but all in all, they can mark this one as a success. Hopefully, this will serve as an inspiration for more similar events in the future, as there is no such thing as too much action and big guarantees.

We may have to wait a month or two as all eyes are now on Las Vegas and the World Series of Poker happening there, but there is no reason to think that PartyPoker doesn’t have something up its sleeve soon thereafter!
