Reel in 2025 with a Massive New Year Series
This winder, PokerStars is giving tournament poker fans around the world a chance to start the new year right, by playing one of the biggest online tournament series of the entire year.
With a total of $35 million in guaranteed prize pools, the New Year Series will feature 359 events across three buyin orbits, a system PokerStars players have grown accustomed to.
The Series will offer events with buyins as low as $0.55, as well as low-stakes satellites and Spin & Go tournaments feeding players into the higher buyin events.
For all the high-stakes crushers, high rollers with buyins as high as $5,000 will run across the High orbit, creating plenty of action at the highest echelons of online poker.
The most notable event of the New Year Series will be its Main Event, running across all three orbits with buyins of $109, $1,050, and $5,200, each offering a cool $1 million guarantee.
Earlier in the Series, players will get a chance to enjoy the PokerStars Red Spade Open, an exciting $55 tournament that will feature $500k in guaranteed prizes.

Players will also get to start the New Year with the New Year’s Special Tournament on January 1 with buyins of $20.25, $202.50, and $2,025 and guarantees of $300k, $500k, and $300k respectively.
Gifts Galore with the Million Dollar Ticket Machine
To make the holiday season truly special, PokerStars is giving away one million dollars through its popular Ticket Machine, with no strings attached.
All PokerStars players are eligible to win a share of the million dollar prize pool, with tickets to the daily raffles available to anyone who logs into their account.
The daily raffles will award tickets to various New Year Series events, next year’s Sunday Million 19th Anniversary, and Power Path satellites.
Players who play real money games in the meantime will get to earn additional entry tickets for the weekly raffles, where more tickets will be handed out.
