After announcing its marquee Spring Championship of Online Poker in the US markets a few days back, PokerStars has now released full schedules for the series as well.

The 2024 NASCOOP will kick off on April 5 in both Pennsylvania and Michigan / New Jersey combined markets, and it will last for over two weeks, until April 22.

Both schedules look quite similar, with PA only missing one event at the very end of the series. The main difference is in guarantees, which are a bit smaller across the board in Pennsylvania.

MI + NJ 2024 SCOOP Schedule Highlights

The schedule for PokerStars US players in Michigan and New Jersey features 129 individual tournaments and 43 numbered events. As is always the case with the SCOOP, all tournaments feature three buy-in tiers, usually happening on the same day, although there are a few exceptions to this rule.

Looking at the buy-ins across the board, the lowest buy-in is $5, although there is just one event with this price point. There are, however, many tournaments in the Low tier with a buy-in of $10 – $20.

The highest buy-in of the 2024 MI/NJ SCOOP is $2,500 for the High version of the Main Event, which comes with a guarantee of $150,000. There are also a couple of $1,000 buy-in events players can get involved with.

The $300 Medium Main Event, which is the highlight of the series, takes place on Sunday, April 21, and features a guarantee of $300,000.

With 129 tournaments on the docket, there will be plenty of action each day, and we’re bringing you a few hand-picked events that we perceive as good value:

DateTournamentGuarantee
April 6$30 Kickoff Championship Medium$30,000
April 7$100 Sunday Special Championship$100,000
April 8$50 Royale Championship Medium$20,000
April 14$20 Supersonic Medium$10,000
April 16$50 Super Tuesday Championship Low$30,000
April 22$10 Phase Championship$30,000

PA SCOOP 2024 Highlights

The tournament schedule for the 2024 SCOOP in Pennsylvania is almost identical to the one in MI/NJ. The only event missing from the PA schedule is the Turbo Sendoff event, which is the last event on the MI/NJ docket.

Buy-ins for all events across all tiers are identical as well, as PokerStars wanted to give all the players the exact same SCOOP experience. Guarantees for certain PA events are somewhat smaller, which makes sense, given the expected numbers.

The Main Event for PA players takes place on April 21 and features a buy-in of $300 and a guarantee of $225,000.

Beyond this, you’ll find the best value in some of the following tournaments:

DateTournamentGuarantee
April 6$100 Kickoff Championship High$40,000
April 7$100 Sunday Special Championship Medium$100,000
April 14$200 KO Special Championship Medium$100,000
April 22$10 Phase Championship$25,000

The 2024 NASCOOP Brings Something for All Players

Although a majority of events on the 2024 NASCOOP schedule feature No Limit Texas Hold’em in one way or another, the tournament series brings plenty of choice for fans of other variations as well.

In fact, the very first event of this year’s US SCOOP is an 8-Game mix tournament, available across all three tiers. Players can join the 8-Game Championship for as little as $20, which will certainly be welcome news for all fans of mixed games out there.

The SCOOP #9 event is dedicated entirely to non-Hold’em variations, featuring Badugi, Razz, and Horse on April 8, 15, and 22, respectively.

There are even a 5-Card PLO and 2-7 Triple Draw added to the mix, alongside several tournaments featuring Pot Limit Omaha, a game variation that has now become commonplace in all major series.

All in all, tournament players in the US have plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks as one of the biggest online series returns in style, featuring big prizes, special promotions, leaderboards for the best performers, and much more!
