One thing that most of us can agree on is that the time truly flies. It feels like we’ve just celebrated the New Year where, in reality, we are already half way through 2023.

That means, among other things, that the 2023 World Series of Poker is just around the corner. Cards will get in the air in three weeks, commencing what should be the biggest WSOP in poker history.

For many players and fans out there, this will be their first time visiting Las Vegas. It is the perfect mix of excitement, anticipation, and a bit of anxiety. After all, it’s hard to know what to expect from the world’s gambling capital during the largest poker festival.

We certainly can’t give you all the answers, but for the past few weeks, we’ve tried our best, interviewing GGPoker ambassadors to help paint the picture of Las Vegas during those crazy few weeks.

Today, we continue to do just that, as we sit down with Hristivoje ‘ALLinPav’ Pavlovic, an online MTT specialist who’s no stranger to the live felt, either.

When You Brick Everything, There’s Drinks and Around the Corner

Like so many successful players today, Hristivoje Pavlovic started his journey playing online poker. Cash games were his initial choice, but he quickly moved on to MTTs, and he’s never looked back.

After online poker was banned in Australia, he moved to New Zealand and continued his successful career as a player and streamer, making his alias ‘ALLinPav’ known throughout the community.

It’s hard to question Pavlovic’s dedication to the game. He holds the record for the most hours streamed in Twitch Poker. In 2020 alone, he streamed for a total of 2,368 hours.

What do you like the most about the World Series of Poker, and what is your most memorable experience there?

The best thing about the WSOP is all the games running at any given moment. My most memorable experience is playing with a drunk guy at the Wynn and him begging me to cover his phone in hand sanitizer.

Why should every poker player visit Las Vegas and WSOP at least once?

You'll basically never experience funner or softer live games than what's in Vegas. And when you brick everything, there's drinks and a good time around the next corner.

What would be your top 3 tips for someone going there for the first time?

Go with friends! Find an Airbnb, get a car and split the costs. It's always good to have a support group while you're there.

What are the main differences between playing live at the WSOP, and online at GGPoker?

Think of it as a 24/7 snap cam with free alcohol and all your favorite streamers roaming around.

Are You Ready to Take the Plunge?

As the World Series of Poker approaches, it’s impossible to avoid the posts and videos from people sharing their plans and expectations for the summer. With every passing week, the poker community gets more excited.

It is only natural that this makes you a bit anxious and wanting to join the fun – but it’s not as simple as packing your bags and going to Vegas.

Travel alone costs money, and then you need to have some money to actually enter the tournaments and fully take advantage of the opportunities.

The good news is that you can still make your Las Vegas dreams come true at a huge discount. GGPoker is running the Road to Vegas promo, sending hundreds of people to the World Series, covering their Main Event entry as well as travel expenses and accommodation.

If you don’t have a GGPoker account as of yet, we have some more good news!

If you sign up using our link, you can get free Road to Vegas tickets as a welcome bonus to give you a nice head start on your journey:

  • Deposit $10 & get a $15 Road to Vegas ticket
  • Deposit $50 & get a $125 Road to Vegas ticket

To make this offer even more appealing, GGPoker has secured an additional $1,000,000 if one of their qualifiers ends up winning the whole thing, so it’s really an offer you can’t refuse!
