WPT Global, the international home of the World Poker Tour, is launching a series of satellite tournaments to the biggest guaranteed prize pool live poker tournament in the history, the 2022 WPT World Championship.
The WPT World Championship will play out this December at the popular Wynn in Las Vegas, and will carry a guaranteed prize pool of $15,000,000 for a buy-in of “just” $10,400.
The buy-in probably seems a bit steep for many players, but WPT Global is giving away 100 direct entry tickets for the event via its online poker platform.
With feeder satellites running many times per day, and Mega Satellites running once per day, there are plenty of seats up for grabs.
Keep reading to find out how you can claim your $12,400 WPT World Championship package and make your poker dreams become a reality.
Satellites Galore at WPT Global
Every day between now and November 20, 2022, WPT Global will be running satellite tournaments to the WPT World Championship event.
Feeder satellites start with buyins at just $5, where $55 tickets for the second step can be won. From there, you can win your $550 tickets into the last step before the actual WPT World Championship package.
The $5, $55, and $550 satellites are plentiful each day, with an event running every hour at one of the buy-in levels. Each day at 09:15, WPT Global runs the $550 Mega Satellite, where one WPT World Championship package is guaranteed.
Each Sunday, the Mega Satellite offers much more, with at least eight WPT World Championship tickets guaranteed, meaning eight different players get to go to Vegas come December.
While these satellites don’t offer any added packages, judging by the turnout for recent WPT Global events, you can likely expect some overlay in the big Sunday Mega Satellites at least.

What Exactly Can I Win?
The WPT World Championship Mega Satellites can be entered for a direct entry fee of $550 or by winning your ticket in the lower buy-in satellite tournaments at WPT Global.
Once in there, players will be playing for a WPT live package worth a grand total of $12,400. Of that amount, $10,400 will be reserved for the winner’s entry, while another $2,000 will be given in cash for the cost of travel and accommodations.
Each player who wins the package is required to be fully registered with WTP Global and pass the KYC procedure in full.
This means only players over the age of 21 and those who are playing from eligible countries on their own, real accounts, will be able to actually claim a package.
If you win the package through this mobile poker app, you will need to confirm whether you prefer to play Day 1A (December 12) or Day 1B (December 13) of the World Championship as your Day 1 flight.
While WPT Global will provide you with $2,000 for travel and accommodations, it will be your duty to make your way to Vegas in time for the tournament, as well as to take care of any visa or other requirements that may be associated with your visit to the US.
The satellites will continue running until November 20, which means there is still plenty of time to get involved and try to win your seat at one of the biggest poker festivals of the year.
