WSOP US Throwing Online Freeroll Satellite to the Main Event

Players in the United States can start planning for the 2024 WSOP Main Event early. WSOP.com will be hosting freeroll satellites for the tournament on the last day of January, and players in all jurisdictions where WSOP US operates can get involved.
Whether you’re in Pennsylvania, Nevada, Michigan, or New Jersey, you can look forward to the Main Event freeroll taking place on January 31. The winner of each individual freeroll will receive $10,000 in WSOP tournament credits.
What’s more, securing your seat in the tournament is very easy, as you don’t have to go through any additional qualifiers. All it takes is a single deposit during the qualifying period, and you’ll be in with a shot.

Secure Your WSOP Freeroll Seat
To get a ticket to the Main Event freeroll, all you have to do is make a deposit with WSOP US until January 29 and use the bonus code ‘EVENT24’. There is no minimum deposit requirement, either, so if you already have some funds in your account, you can simply make the smallest deposit allowed just to get your ticket.
As long as you complete this step by the end of January 29, you’ll receive the entry. Players are not entered into the tournament automatically, so you’ll need to register yourself prior to the start of the event on January 31 at 8 pm ET.
The fact that the satellite is open only to players who make a deposit during January is actually good news. If it were a complete freeroll, the number of players would probably be so big that it might not be worth your time. This way, the event stands to offer really good value.
WSOP US Offering Some Flexibility
Although the freeroll is promoted as the 2024 Main Event qualifier, tournament winners will have quite a bit of flexibility. Instead of a single ticket to the Main, you’ll receive $10,000 in tournament buy-ins, and you can use these funds to enter any bracelet events this summer.
So, if you get lucky and decide you’d rather spread the bankroll and use it to enter a few cheaper tournaments like Millionaire Maker, you’ll have that option.
That said, you won’t be able to cash out your winnings, so you should only play if you have plans to play at the series or know you can arrange for it in case you win. This is stated clearly in the operator’s terms and conditions for the promotion, and it’s important to be aware of this restriction.
Of course, the 2024 World Series of Poker should be a proper spectacle, and if you get a chance to go, you should definitely do it.
Last year, the Main Event broke the attendance record that stood for nearly two decades, and live tournaments are as popular as ever. WSOP has only released a small portion of its summer schedule, but we expect it will be quite colorful and offer something for everyone.
