Key Events at 888poker LIVE Madrid 2024
This year, 888poker will be running the LIVE Madrid festival in the week between January 22 and 29, which still leaves plenty of time to make your way to the Royal City and join all the key events.
This puts the festival into a time slot about 10 days later than last year, which has allowed players more time to recover from the holiday season and get back into the full grind mode before traveling for a live event.
The festival will kick off with a €220 Opening Event, which is going to feature three Day 1 flights, 30k starting chips, and 30 minute blind levels, acting as a great final test before the Main Event.
The 888poker LIVE Madrid Main Event itself starts on January 25 and comes with the usual price of €888 and with four Day 1 flights scattered across four days.
The Main Event will feature 45 minute blind levels, except for the Turbo Day 1d, while the event’s final day will be played with hour-long levels.
Apart from these major events, a fun €330 Mystery Bounty event is expected to receive massive turnout, while a €2,000 High Roller will be there for all the high stakes players who happen to show up for the festival.
The ladies will get their chance in the €55 Ladies Event on January 28, a fun and exciting tournament for women who prefer to battle it out against other women and ease into the game with slightly less pressure.

888poker LIVE Madrid Main Event
Last year’s 888poker LIVE Madrid Main Event offered a €300,000 guaranteed prize pool but ended up attracting 514 entries and reaching closer to €400,000 in total prizes.
Romanian Adrian Marin took down the top prize of €92,000 after defeating an international final table made up of players from Russia, Portugal, Spain, Netherlands, and Israel.
While this year’s Main Event does not have an official guarantee to speak of, we expect a similar turnout and a top prize close to €100,000 once again.
You can join the 888poker LIVE Madrid Main Event between January 25 and 28, with Day 1 flights running on each of those days, offering 45 minute levels, barring the final Day 1d flight which will feature a 20 minute turbo structure.
All players who make it into the final day of the Main Event will get a chance to play the Final Day on January 29, when the champion will be decided at the luxurious Casino Gran Via Poker Room, one of the finest in all of Spain.
If you make your way to Madrid a bit early, you can play a number of Main Event Super Satellites with €110 buyins, each of them offering seats into the Main Event at a fraction of the price. The Super Satellites are on schedule on January 24, 25, and 26, giving you three chances to win your seat and save money on the buyin.
