ACR Poker is filling September with multi-day tournament action. The ongoing OSS XL series and ACR's 25th Anniversary Tournament currently offer eight major multi-day events, carrying $9.725 million in combined guarantees.
The range is unusually wide. Buy-ins start at just $5.50 for a Mystery Bounty multi-flight, while the $2,650 OSS XL Main Event comes with a $2.5 million guarantee.
For tournament players, however, the headline guarantees are only part of the story. Different starting flights, satellite routes, Mystery Bounty formats, and ACR's unusual cumulative-stack Anniversary event create very different decisions.

The two largest OSS XL Main Events conclude with final tables on September 29. The Anniversary Tournament also reaches its final table that day.
MPC lobby check: I checked the ACR Poker client on September 10. All seven highlighted OSS XL multi-day tournaments were visible in the tournament lobby, including the $66, $1,050 and $2,650 Main Events and the four additional multi-flight events.
Three OSS XL Main Events Put $5 Million GTD on the Line
The three OSS XL Main Events account for $5 million in combined guarantees. The biggest is the $2,650 Main Event with $2.5 million guaranteed. Its first Day 1 runs on September 20, followed by a second starting flight on September 27.
Survivors return for Day 2 on September 28, with the final table taking place one day later. The $1,050 Main Event follows the same schedule and carries a $2 million guarantee.
Those are serious buy-ins, so I would not view the size of the guarantee alone as a reason to move outside your normal bankroll. Large guarantees can create attractive tournament opportunities, but they also bring substantial variance and potentially strong fields.
The lower-priced Main Event offers a very different route.
The $66 OSS XL Main Event Starts September 13
The third OSS XL Main Event carries a $500,000 guarantee for a $66 buy-in. Day 1A begins on September 13, with another starting opportunity on September 20 and Day 2 scheduled for September 27.
ACR is also running $6.60 satellites into the event. That makes this one of the most accessible headline tournaments on the OSS XL schedule.
A satellite can reduce the amount needed for one direct entry, but it does not remove tournament risk. Repeated satellite attempts can quickly increase your total spend, so I would treat the $6.60 route as an alternative qualification method rather than a guaranteed cheap Main Event seat.
Four OSS XL Multi-Flights Add Another $2.225M GTD
The Main Events are only one part of ACR's September multi-day schedule. Four additional OSS XL multi-flight tournaments combine for $2.225 million in guarantees.
The largest has a $630 buy-in and $1.5 million guaranteed, with Day 1 flights continuing throughout September before Day 2 on September 28.
The other three use the Mystery Bounty format:
- $109 buy-in – $500,000 GTD
- $33 buy-in – $150,000 GTD
- $5.50 buy-in – $75,000 GTD
The $109 event offers flights through September 21, while the $33 and $5.50 versions continue through September 27.
That creates a rare bankroll spread inside the same tournament series. Someone playing lower stakes can access a multi-day OSS XL tournament for $5.50, while higher-volume MTT players can target six-figure guarantees at several different buy-in levels.

What Does Multi-Flight Mean in a Poker Tournament?
A multi-flight tournament gives players several starting opportunities before the field combines for a later stage. Instead of everyone entering the same Day 1, ACR spreads qualification across multiple flights.
Your immediate objective is to survive a Day 1 and secure a stack for the next stage. This gives players some practical flexibility, since they can choose a flight that fits their schedule and may get another opportunity after failing to qualify.
However, more flights do not automatically mean better value. Every additional entry costs money. A $33 tournament becomes a $99 investment after three entries, while repeated attempts in a $630 event can become expensive very quickly.
That distinction matters when comparing advertised buy-ins. The listed buy-in tells you the cost of one entry, not necessarily your final investment.
ACR's $2.5M Anniversary Tournament Works Differently
The 25th Anniversary Tournament deserves separate attention. It has a $250 buy-in, a $2.5 million guarantee and has expanded to 41 Day 1 flights, including regular and Turbo starting options.
Day 2 takes place on September 28, with the final table following on September 29. The most interesting feature is the tournament's cumulative-stack format.
Qualifying once gets your surviving chips into Day 2. Qualifying again can add another surviving stack to your existing total.
For example, imagine you qualify with 120,000 chips and later advance through another Day 1 with 80,000. Under the cumulative format, you would begin Day 2 with 200,000 chips.
This creates a genuine strategic decision because qualifying does not necessarily end your Day 1 schedule. A player can return and try to increase their Day 2 stack, but every additional flight means risking another $250.
When I checked the ACR client on September 10, the Anniversary Tournament was already showing 3,771 enrolled in its Day 2 listing. The lobby also displayed a long schedule of upcoming regular and Turbo flights.
I would avoid describing the 3,771 figure as 3,771 unique players. The lobby labels it as enrolled, and the cumulative multi-flight structure means repeat participation is possible.
You Can Also Try to Qualify for the Anniversary Event From $1.05
ACR is also offering a cheaper satellite path into selected Saturday Turbo flights. The qualification route begins at $1.05.
That figure needs context. A $1.05 satellite is not the same thing as buying into the $2.5 million tournament for $1.05. You still need to advance through the qualification path and win the required seat.
That makes the route much cheaper initially, but also less certain. Players choosing between satellites and direct entry should consider both their bankroll and the time required to qualify.
Which ACR Multi-Day Event Fits Your Bankroll?
The September schedule covers a very wide range of MTT buy-ins. For micro-stakes players, the $5.50 Mystery Bounty is the lowest-cost option among these eight events. The $33 Mystery Bounty and $66 Main Event provide the next step.
At $109 and $250, the investment becomes more substantial. The $630, $1,050 and $2,650 events belong in a very different bankroll category.
I would not stretch a normal poker bankroll simply because the guarantee looks attractive. A guarantee tells you how much ACR promises to put into the prize pool. It does not tell you how soft the field will be.

Watch the Field Size, Not Just the Guarantee
This is one lesson worth carrying over from ACR's recent Venom.
I tracked the $12 million Mystery Bounty Venom while it appeared headed toward a significant overlay. Late entries changed the picture dramatically, and the tournament eventually finished with 4,792 entries. It needed 4,800 to fully cover the guarantee through player contributions.
That left a final overlay of only $20,000.

It is a useful lesson for OSS XL as well. Early registration numbers do not tell the full story, especially in multi-flight tournaments where later flights can create major registration surges.
So I would never assume an OSS XL event offers an overlay simply because registrations look low several days before the final flight.
Which September Event Stands Out?
There is no single correct answer because these tournaments target very different bankrolls.
For recreational MTT players, however, the $66 Main Event immediately stands out. The $500,000 guarantee is significant relative to the buy-in, and the $6.60 satellite route offers another way in.
At the lower end, the $5.50 and $33 Mystery Bounties offer multi-day structures without a three-figure entry cost. The $250 Anniversary event is arguably the most unusual because its cumulative-stack system creates decisions that do not exist in a standard multi-flight tournament.
Higher-stakes players have the $630, $1,050 and $2,650 events ahead later in September.
Whatever level you choose, I would apply the same rule: pick the tournament that fits your bankroll first, then worry about the headline guarantee.
