The long-anticipated WPT Voyage is finally here, as the Valiant Lady prepares to set sail from the Port of Miami and take hundreds of poker players out to sea.

The Voyage, which will last a full week, starts today at 6 PM local time, and will run for a full week, and award over $1.5 million in prize money at the tables, but that’s only a small part of it.

Away from the poker tables, players and their guests will have an opportunity to explore the Caribbean islands, go snorkeling, play golf, pickleball, tennis, and much more.

The 2024 WPT Voyage might just be the single best poker trip you can take all year round, and for those who decided to join, it should be one of the biggest adventures of their poker careers.

Poker Action Starts Tonight

When it comes to cruises, people usually need a little time to adjust, but there won’t be much of that going on at WPT Voyage, as the action kicks off almost as soon as the guests come on board.

Players will be boarding the Valiant Lady at 6 PM, and the first events of the day, a $2,500 Turbo NLH event and a $660 Milestone Satellite to the WPT Voyage Championship start at 8.

The first night will end with a casual $150 Nightly NLH event, which we expect to be a very laid-back affair with a lot of cocktails floating around the room.

While the first night at sea will no doubt be exciting to all, getting a good night’s sleep will be essential for those looking to play Day 1 of the WPT Voyage Championship, which starts tomorrow at 11 AM.

Those looking to play in the first flight of the WPT Voyage Prime Championship will be able to chill throughout the day and play in the evening, or join one of the many side events happening through the day.

The Million Dollar Guaranteed WPT Voyage Championship will only have one starting flight, which means the second day of the trip will be essential for those looking to play the Main Event.

Past this, there will be plenty of poker action on board every single day, and you can find the full tournament schedule right here.

If you are looking to play poker but aren’t much of a tournament grinder, there will be plenty of cash game action going on around the clock as well in the cash game area of the poker room.

Spend the Evening at the Pajama Meet Up Game

The first night of the WPT Voyage will be by far the silliest, as the hosts look to put all the guests in a good mood and get the Voyage off to a good start.

Just two hours after embankment, all players will be welcomed in the cash game area of the ship, where the Meet Up Game will be kicking off.

The theme of the Meet Up Game is Pajama Party, which means everyone is expected to wear pajamas to the event, making it quite a fun event to attend.

Representing the hosts will be poker streamers Rampage and Andrew Neeme, as well as WPT’s own Lynn Gylmartin, Vince Van Patten, and Tony Dunst.

You can be sure they will all be wearing some fun outfits to the event, and you should too, as doing so means you have a chance at a free $5,000 WPT Voyage Championship.

Players wearing their best pajamas will all be entered into a drawing, and one of them will come out on top with the $5k entry into the Main Event.

Whether you generally play cash games or not, tonight is the one time you should show up to play. As soon as the drawing is done, you can simply head back to your cabin and get into bed, as you will already be in your most comfortable outfit.

Explore the Caribbean in Style

The WPT Voyage is primarily a poker tournament, but it is also so much more than that. Whether you are a poker player or not, this is the one poker trip that you can enjoy to the fullest.

Both players and those accompanying them on this exciting poker trip will have plenty to do over the next week as the Valiant Lady sets sail tonight and sails the seas for seven days.

Days 2, 4, and 5 of the trip will be spent entirely on the open water, sailing the Caribbean and soaking up the sun and the beauty of one of the most beautiful archipelagos in the world.

On Day 3, the Voyage will stop at the Cayman Islands, with players disembarking at George Town. Snorkeling, golf, and more activities will be made available during the stop.

On Day 6, the Voyage will reach its peak when the ship stops at the Bahamas, and players disembark for an epic party at Beach Club at Bimini.

The packed schedule of activities both on the ship and off it means everyone who joins will be able to find a fun activity they will fully enjoy.

The entirety of the time you are not taking part in an activity, the Voyage will give you access to luxurious food, beverages, and endless recreation activities of all sorts.

In just a few days, we will know who the champion of this year’s WPT Voyage Championship is, but the truth is everyone who gets on board the Valiant Lady tonight will have plenty of reason to celebrate throughout the week.
