Poker pros and enthusiasts from across Europe are in luck, as another amazing poker event is set to play out in the last week of April in one of the most exotic destinations on the continent, Malta.

The spring edition of the Malta Poker Festival kicks off on April 24 at the beautiful Portomaso Casino, which has served as the island’s poker hub for over a decade.

With an entry fee of €550 and a guaranteed prize pool of €300,000, the Festival’s Main Event will be a great opportunity for everyone to experience playing in a multi-day major poker tournament at a reasonable price, but with all the bells and whistles.

On top of this, Malta Poker Festival will feature a number of other exciting events, including the €230 Hendon Mob Championship, the €120 APAT Maltese Championship, the €150 Ladies Event, an €1,100 High Roller, and more.

To make things truly enjoyable for everyone visiting, the organizers also have a set of off-felt activities in store for you, including welcome drinks, Valletta city tour, a Friday night party, and more.

Malta Poker Festival Schedule Revealed

Malta Poker Festival schedule is now fully available, and it is quite comprehensive, assuring that all players who come out to Malta have plenty of poker to play over the week of play.

The Festival officially kicks off on Monday, April 24, but the only bit of poker played that day will be the €70 MPF Grand Event Qualifier, where you can win seats into the Main Event.

April 25 will be an opportunity for some mixed game action, as a €230 H.O.R.S.E event is on the schedule at 6 PM, followed by another Grand Event satellite and a late night MPF Texas Special with a €120 buy-in.

The MPF Grand Event kicks off on April 26 with Day 1A starting at 2 PM. The Grand Event will feature a €550 buy-in and 40 minute blind levels, along with a 50k starting chip stack, providing amazing value for money and very low tournament fees.

For those who decide not to play Day 1A, a Betsson One Bullet event with a €150 buy-in, and a Crazy Pineapple tournament with a €230 buyin are on the schedule later in the day.

On Thursday, April 27, you will once again have a shot at the MPF Grand Event in Day 1B, while a €230 Bounty Hunter Days Malta event will offers some KO action with unlimited re-entries.

Friday will be another action packed day, with Day 1C of the Grand Event, Day 1 of the €230 Hendon Mob Championship, and a €250 Friday Shark Deepstack all on the schedule.

All players who survive Day 1 of the Hendon Mob Championship will come back to play at 1 PM on Saturday, while two additional Day 1 flights of the Grand Event will also be available.

Variety of Options to Pick From

At 4 PM on Saturday, all the ladies who make their way to Malta will get to play in the €150 Ladies First! Event hosted by Chris Read.

Players who decided against playing the Grand Event will have a chance to play in the €120 APAT Maltese Championship Day 1 or the MPF Seniors Event hosted by Poker Mamma, which kicks off at 8.

On Sunday, April 30, both the MPF Grand Event and the APAT Maltese Championship will feature their Day 2s, but anyone not still in those events will get plenty of chance to play poker as well.

The €250 Sunday Deep Stack, €200 PLO Knight Crusaders, and €150 MPF Win the Button events are all on the schedule, along with Day 1 of the €1,100 MPF High Roller. All these events will have unlimited re-entry options.

The final day of the MPF Grand Event will kick off at 2 PM on May 1, at the same time as the MPF High Roller Day 2.

A 3 PM €120 Bounty Hunter Days Progressive Closer is also on the schedule, along with MPF Worker’s Day Classic with a buy-in of €250 to close out the Festival.

With all the re-entry options, players who make their way to MPF should really have their hands full with action at affordable buy-ins and with some great prize pools to play for.
