PartyPoker is back with its POWERFEST, a tournament series open to the players in France and Spain, offering an impressive €1,750,000 in guarantees over the 18 days of action.

The series kicks off this weekend, with the first tournaments taking place on Sunday, February 25. The action will continue through the first couple of weeks of March, wrapping up on Wednesday, March 13.

While PartyPoker offers many tournament series throughout the year to its rest-of-the-world players, POWERFEST is open only to players residing in Spain and France, showing that the operator hasn’t forgotten about these ring-fenced markets.

Plenty of Action for All Bankrolls

Like many other major online poker series, the POWERFEST will feature four event levels: high, medium, low, and mini. Thanks to this, all players on the site will get to enjoy the action, regardless of what their bankrolls might be.

At the low end of the spectrum, tournament buy-ins start at just €0.50. At the opposite end, the highest buy-in of the series is €1,000. Of course, a majority of events fall in between these two extremes, with numerous events between €5 and €250 and handsome guarantees.

There are three Main Events on the menu, all taking place at the very end of the series on March 13:

  • €125 High Main Event – €200,000 GTD
  • €30 Medium Main Event – €100,000 GTD
  • €5 Low Main Event – €50,000 GTD

PartyPoker didn’t forget fans of PLO, either. In addition to various tournaments on the 18-day schedule, there are also three PLO Main Events on the docket, with guarantees ranging from €3,000 – €20,000. These tournaments will be played in the popular PKO format, adding even more excitement to the already fast-paced format.

Apart from Main Events, tournaments to pay special attention to are four Championships. These are multiday events with buy-ins between €3 and €250. Although these have nice guarantees, to begin with, they’re likely to drive big crowds, blowing that original promise out of the water.

Fun Promotions & Special POWERFEST Spins

On top of all the tournament action over the two and a half weeks, PartyPoker will be running a number of promotions during the POWERFEST to spice things up.

The most entertaining one is the Mystery Wheel. Every day, one tournament will be selected, and by eliminating players in that tournament, you’ll earn one spin on the Wheel for every player you knock out. Every spin can net you a prize between €0.50 and €50 in Tournament Euros.

There are also two Daily Leaderboards, giving you a shot at additional POWERFEST tickets. The Challenger Leaderboard is for all events with buy-ins under €13, while the Elite Leaderboard counts points from all tournaments with a buy-in of €13 and more.

Finally, you’ll find special POWERFEST Spins featured in the PartyPoker lobby. These are just like all other Spins on the site, but instead of big cash prizes, the biggest jackpot is a POWERFEST ticket of a certain value.

Of course, ticket-awarding Spins go off much more often than as the ticket value represents the buy-in multiplier between 50x and 80x.

  • €0.50 Spins – €30 POWERFEST Ticket
  • €3 Spins – €125 Main Event Ticket & €25 for runner-up
  • €12.50 Spins – €125 Main Event Ticket, 2x€250 Tickets, or €1,000 High Roller Tickets
