Preliminary Events Already Running

The WPT Prime Bratislava festival started today, with the first Day 1 flight of the €220 WPT Opener event currently in progress.

The Opener event is the perfect opportunity for players to get comfortable playing at the Card Casino and take a shot at the massive €250,000 guaranteed prize pool awarded by this tournament.

Final Day 1 flight will be available on Tuesday when the event will work its way down toward the final table, and registration will close out.

Throughout the following days, players will get a chance to claim their seats in the Opener, as well as the WPT Prime event, via a range of live satellites that will be played in the Card Casino tournament area.

Other key events you can expect to play in the coming days include the €330 WPT Championship, €1,500 Mystery Bounty, and €3,000 WPT No Limit Hold'em High Roller, all of which are expected to draw in a crowd made up of elite poker players.

Moving further into the festival, plenty of other side events will run, including the €180 Bankroll Builder, €150 WPT NLH Turbo Madness, and the €150 Ladies Championship.

WPT Bratislava Prime Main Event Offers Half a Million EUR

The big attraction of the festival will be the WPT Bratislava Prime event, which comes with a €1,100 buyin, a €500,000 guaranteed prize pool, and six starting flights.

As is usually the case with main events in Bratislava casinos, the tournament will feature 40-minute blind levels and a deep structure that allows for plenty of play.

The €1,100 buyin makes the Prime event quite affordable compared to WPT Main Events in many other places, but players who want to try and get in for even less can do so via number of satellites, which are running with a €150 price tag and guaranteeing five seats into the event each.

The event guarantees prizes for a 500-player pool but is quite expected to get a lot more entries than that over its six starting days.

The first day of the Prime will kick-off on April 11, so there is still plenty of time to make it to Bratislava and get involved with what will surely be an epic poker tournament throughout.

Enjoy the New European Poker Capital

For several years now, live poker has been thriving in Bratislava, as the city’s two major poker rooms have hosted dozens of major poker festivals with affordable buyins.

This has made Bratislava into a poker hub for most of Europe, putting it only second to Rozvadov on European soil.

As far as poker action goes, there is never a dull moment in the capital of Slovakia, and you can be sure to find plenty of cash game and tournament action every single day of the WPT Prime festival.

Beyond the felt, there is plenty to do in Bratislava as well, as it is a historic city with countless monuments you will want to visit, and attractions you will want to experience.

Unlike Rozvadov, which is focused almost solely on poker and gambling, Bratislava is a city where you can truly enjoy every moment of free time in any way you please.

There is still time to book your stay in Bratislava, with Card Casino offering special discounts with its partner hotels, and plenty of other acommodations available for the WPT Prime event which starts in several days.

If you want to join the spectacle, check out the official Card Casino website for more info, and head over to Slovakia for a poker event that could change your life.
