The 2023 WSOP in Las Vegas was one of the best organized and most thrilling we have seen in years as the Series finally broke the Main Event attendance record, along with quite a few other records in the process.
Just as the Series was coming to a close, WSOP announced the launch of the first-ever WSOP Paradise, to be played out in the Bahamas this winter, and the dates for traditional WSOPE and international WSOPC tournaments are now in as well.
Although there are only five months left to 2023, we are in for an action-packed schedule until the New Year, followed by a few more stops of the WSOPC across the world, and potentially even more that have not been announced yet.
The biggest story of all, of course, are the dates and schedule for WSOPE, which rates as the most anticipated and prestigious tournament festival in all of Europe, and will once again be taking place at the luxurious Kings Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic.
WSOPE Returns to Rozvadov
For several years now, Rozvadov has been the European capital of poker, as the small town on the border of Czech Republic and Germany has continually managed to attract thousands of poker players for one festival after another.
World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE), has been hosted at Kings Casino since 2017, and will be returning there this year, with the kickoff set for October 25.
The big highlight of the festival will be the €10,000 WSOPE Main Event, whose €5,000,000 guaranteed prize pool will likely be blown out of the water.
WSOPE will feature a total of 15 bracelet events, including low buy-in tournaments like the €350 NLH Opener, €550 PLO 8-Max, and €550 NLH Colossus to name a few, but also €25k and €50k High Roller events for the poker world’s most elite players.
Speaking on the upcoming WSOP, Kings Casino owner Leon Tsoukernik said:
“We’re absolutely thrilled to continue hosting the most prestigious tournament series in Europe, this year offering even higher guaranteed prize pools and new exciting events.”
With 15 WSOP bracelets up for grabs, the Series is expected to attract some of the biggest names in the poker world, with the likes of Phil Hellmuth and Daniel Negreanu having been regular guests of Kings Casino during this particular festival.
Eight International WSOPC Stops Announced
Along with the schedule for the upcoming WSOPE in Rozvadov, WSOP also announced a list of eight unique WSOPC festivals to be played outside of the US, on top of the many already scheduled for the US players earlier in the summer.
The first of those is already underway in London, England, and is set to run until August 13, and multiple further stops are already scheduled for the 2023/24 season, with additional stops to be added as the season goes on.
And we have two more @WSOP Super Circuit London Ring winners…
Canada's Dongwoo Ko topped a 672 strong field in the Colossus, cashing £40,000!
Plus, Laura Curry championed the Seniors Event, earning £8,000 as part of a 3-way deal🤝
Congratulations to both👏
