888poker published two new episodes of its brand-new WSOP 2024 docuseries, which follows the progress of its ambassadors at the 2024 WSOP Main Event.
The first episode detailed the players' arrival in Las Vegas, but episode two was all business, as the players entered the Main with high hopes and big dreams.
In the third episode, we also got a chance to see what the players were up to during the break between Day 1 and Day 2, with most of them coming together to watch the Euro and Copa America games simultaneously.
Few do quality poker content like 888poker, and the new docuseries on the 2024 WSOP continues to give us a very detailed look into what it's like to be an 888poker-sponsored pro and play the biggest tournament series of the year proudly wearing the blue 888 patches.
Main Event Kicks Off with a Bang
The 2024 WSOP Main Event became the biggest in the tournament's history, with well over 10,000 players taking their shot at poker’s biggest prize.
Five 888poker pros were among the hopefuls, with Aaron Barone and Nicholas Eastwood representing the 888poker Stream Team, Lucia Navarro and Vivian Saliba coming in with a long history of live poker success, and Jack Dean, also known as JaackMaate, playing the event as the 888poker Cultural Ambassador.
All five took their seats in the Main Event Day 1A, with last year’s champion Daniel Weinman doing the honors of announcing the “shuffle up and deal” to get the action going.

The players came into the event pumped up to play, and after swapping 2% of their action, Nicholas and Aaron were ready to take to the live streets despite the significantly higher stakes than they are used to.
Navarro and Saliba had plenty of experience going into the Main, and having won $91,000 in an MGM Grand tournament just days before, Lucia was ready to keep things rolling her way and make a deep run.
Jack came into the tournament as the least experienced member of the team, but with plenty of enthusiasm and belief that his newly found skills from his pub league would translate into success in the Main Event too.
The Grind Is On – 888poker Team Battles in Day 1
The second episode of the docuseries showed us what it looks like to play in the massive field of Day 1 at the WSOP Main Event, where thousands of players take their seats and play for ten hours straight.
With 2-hour levels and so much action, Day 1 of the Main Event is probably the deepest you will ever be in a poker tournament, and our 888poker pros made every advantage of that.
Nick was all-in on level one but survived, folded pocket kings in the early going, and was able to survive the roller-coaster to make it to Day 2.
Lucia got a great table draw and was able to run over her table, jokingly telling the viewers that she might fall asleep if the action continues being so slow and no one puts her to the test.
Vivian ended up playing from the first hand, despite contemplating a late registration, and her decision paid dividends as she too made it to Day 2.
At the end of the day, all five 888poker pros were still in the mix, all of them with middling stack, but plenty to play with when action continues.

Poker Pros Put on Their Football Jerseys
Playing Day 1A of the Main Event allowed the players to get a free day before the action continued. While they all made Day 2, they had a chance to recharge their batteries with an off day on Saturday.
With both Euro 2024 and Copa America in their knockout stages and the entire team great fans of football, it was time to put the Jerseys and support their respective sides.
It just so happened that England was playing Switzerland in the knockout stages of the Euro, which meant Nick, Aaron, and Jack were off to the pub to cheer on the Lions.
The game went into extra time and penalties, but when it was all said and done, the boys had plenty to be happy about as their team made it to the next stage.
It wasn’t all good news for Vivi, as her Brazil team ended up being knocked out of Copa America by Uruguay, another penalty shootout that just so happened to be played in Las Vegas.
The boys continued their day of football activities by going to the game and enjoying the luxury of the Allegian Arena in Las Vegas before returning to action.

The Journey Continues Next Week
The Main Event is a marathon, not a sprint, and our 888poker pros are about to find that out as they move on to Day 2 and look for their spot in the deeper stages of the tournament.
The next episode is set to bring us action from Day 2, as all five players continue their journeys with a bag full of chips and a dream of winning it all.
If you love seeing things from the player’s perspective, the new 888poker docuseries is the best content you can watch on this year’s big , so make sure to watch the three episodes that are out and come back next week for even more action from the 2024 WSOP Main Event.
