PokerStars EPT Prague 2023 Guide – Full Schedule and More

It’s been quite a year for live poker players, as one tournament festival after another broke records and dozens of new poker champions etched their names into the history books.

Just over a month is left in 2023, but some of the biggest poker events of the year still lay ahead of us, and PokerStars European Poker Tour Prague is certainly a big part of that list.

Scheduled to start on December 6, just ahead of the holiday season, EPT Prague will represent the last stop of the Tour for 2023, following the successful completion of events in Paris, Monte Carlo, Barcelona, and Cyprus.

Come December, Prague will turn into a true winter wonderland, but also the European capital of poker, as Kings Casino hosts what could be the biggest tournament played on European soil this year.

EPT Prague 2023 Highlights

As has become customary for PokerStars EPT stops, the EPT Prague festival will kick off with a series of Eureka tournaments with lower buy-ins, followed by proper EPT events later in the festival.

In total, the whole event will run from December 6 to December 17, with the EPT Main Event scheduled to start on December 11 and run through the final day of the festival.

If you are looking to get a head start and try to build up a bankroll for big buy-in events, you should look to go to Prague early and participate in Eureka tournaments, with the following key events on the schedule:

€1,100 Eureka Main Event: Dec 6 – 11
€550 Eureka Cup: Dec 9 – 10
€2,200 Eureka High Roller: Dec 10 – 11

The exciting Eureka events will be the perfect prelude for what’s to come, as EPT Prague will offer a number of attractive events, including a few very special ones.

Players with deeper bankrolls and a willingness to play for the big bucks can look forward to the following EPT events:

€5,300 EPT Main Event: Dec 11 – 17
€3,000 EPT Mystery Bounty: Dec 13 – 15

Of course, these events are only the highlights of the 11 day festival, which includes 62 numbered events in total, a number of which are satellite tournaments.
