Last Updated: January 25, 2024
The first stop of this year’s European Poker Tour (EPT) is right around the corner, with the first events kicking off in the City of Light on February 14 and the Main Event on schedule starting February 19.
With just under a month left to go, it is high time you think about finalizing your plans and making up your mind about playing in the EPT Paris events.
While the €5,300 buyin fee for the Main Event is definitely a little steep for many of us, PokerStars still has two final direct satellites on the schedule in the coming days, offering a chance to play EPT Paris at a significant discount.
If you are looking to play this year’s EPT Paris, head on over to PokerStars and register for the next satellite or keep reading and find out more about the upcoming satellites and the ways you can get into them in an even more affordable fashion.
Two Main Event Qualifiers Remain
PokerStars EPT Paris is right around the corner, and only two Main Event qualifiers still remain available in the operator’s lobby.
This means it is high time to act and play for your seat if you want to give yourself a chance to play this year’s event at a discount.
The first qualifier is on schedule on Wednesday, January 24, at 9:10 pm CET, while the final one will be played on Sunday, January 28, at 9:10 pm CET.
Both qualifiers will offer at least one EPT Paris Main Event package, worth €7,800 in total, which includes the €5,300 Main Event buyin, eight nights stay at the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile, and €460 in cash paid into the winner’s PokerStars account.
Note that one package is guaranteed in both qualifiers, but it is likely multiple packages will be handed out, as this is the last opportunity to win the EPT Paris Main Event seat online, and plenty of players will be looking to capitalize on that opportunity.
The direct qualifiers will have a price tag of €530 on them, making them much more available than the Main Event itself, but if you would prefer to qualify for even less, PokerStars offers many opportunities to do so.
Win Your Way into Direct Qualifiers
Over the coming days, PokerStars will hand out plenty of tickets to the two €530 EPT Paris Main Event qualifiers through lower buyin steps qualifiers.
At this time, there are three different qualifier levels that will award at least one €530 seat to the Main Event qualifier, all of them with more affordable prices.
The €55 satellites come with a slow blinds structure, single re-entry possible, and award one seat for every €530 collected in the prize pool.
The €27 satellites, on the other hand, come with a much faster blinds structure, two re-entry opportunities, and also one seat in the direct qualifier for every €530 collected.
Finally, the €22+ satellites come with a hyper-turbo blinds structure and the 1R1A format, meaning one rebuy and one addon are available to every player who enters the event.
The satellites run on the platform throughout the day, and there are many opportunities to win a seat each and every day until the last direct qualifier starts.
If you want to make it a true grind and give yourself a chance to win a seat in the EPT Paris Main Event for minimal investment, the €1.10, €2.20+R, and €5.50 satellites offer opportunities to start at the very bottom and build your way up to the €530 direct qualifier.
PokerStars is regularly giving away tickets to these lower buyin satellites via their X page, so you can check those out as well and potentially get your ticket for free:
Finally, five more Freeroll events will be offered in the coming days as well, each with at least one €22 seat into the EPT satellites guaranteed and rebuys of €0.11 available for purchase.
Head over to PokerStars right now to check out the satellite lobby and choose the best opportunity to qualify for the upcoming EPT Paris and potentially save thousands of Euros in the process.
Get Ready for the Biggest European Tournament This Winter
PokerStars EPT Paris will be the opening festival for yet another season of the biggest poker tour in Europe and the best poker festival on European soil this winter.
The €5,300 EPT Main Event may be the most attractive event of the series, but plenty of lower buy-in events like the €1,100 FPS Main Event and €550 FPS Cup, as well as high roller events with buy-ins as high as €50,000, will be on the schedule.
You can check out the full schedule with all the key events of EPT Paris right here, and create your travel itinerary based on the events you want to play in.
Whether you are looking to qualify for EPT Paris via online satellites at PokerStars, play the lower buy-in events at the festival, or buy in directly into the Main Event this February, we hope to see you there in just a few weeks’ time.
