A monotone board in poker is when every card on the board is of the same suit. This term can be used to describe the community cards on the flop or turn and is used both in Texas Hold’em and Omaha.
Monotone Board Poker Example:
Let’s say that the board reads As Ks 7s after the flop. This is a monotone flop, as all of the cards share the same spades suit.
