One Gapper

A one-gapper is a starting hand in which there’s a gap between the two cards. This term is primarily used in Texas Hold’em. A one-gapper is a less favorable hand than a connector, especially a suited one.

One-Gapper Poker Example:

For instance, a 6 4 hand is a one-gapper. This is because there’s only a one-card gap between them, the missing number 5 card.
