Tight

The poker term tight refers to a playing style in which a player sticks with a narrow range and only gets involved when they have a strong hand. These players are the opposite of loose players. Tight poker players can be tight passive or tight aggressive.

Tight Poker Example:

A tight aggressive player will open tight before the pre-flop and then play aggressively in later betting rounds. In comparison, a tight passive player also continues to play tight for the entire hand, even if they get good cards.
