TPTK

The poker shortening TPTK means Top Pair, Top Kicker, and is used to describe a hand that has a pair made with the strongest card on the community card board and a kicker that’s on the highest possible rank in the particular scenario. It is most often used when a player has an ace card for a kicker.

TPTK Poker Example:

Let’s say that you have an AQ hand, and the community board reads Q J 8 5 2. You have the highest pair along with the highest side card. For you to lose, your opponent should have at least an overpair, two pairs, or stronger.
