Upswing

An upswing in poker is a string of winning results when a player is accompanied by great luck, and often winning more than expected. It is the opposite of a downswing.

Upswing Poker Example:

For poker results to be representative of an upswing, a sample of several thousand hands is required. For instance, if you’re up 20 buy-ins in your last 3,500 hands, you’re experiencing a huge upswing.
