What is a Window Card in Poker?

In community card poker games, the window card is the first card revealed on the flop. In stud poker games, the window card is the first upcard, in which case it’s also known as a “door card”.
Window Card Poker Example:
Let’s say you have a pocket eights. The dealer reveals an 8 T 2, in that order, on the flop. You can say you caught a three-of-a-kind hand with the window card.
