As expected, following the success of the recently finished Winter Series, PokerStars US is back with another treat for all fans of tournament action.

This time around, the operator is throwing the Bounty Builder Series, running February 16 – 26, and promising over $2.2 million in guarantees across the PA and the combined MI/NJ market.

The 10-day series at PokerStars US will offer over 60 events and will feature only bounty tournaments of different shapes and sizes. Players can look forward to fast-paced action, big prize pools, and additional rewards from special knockout leaderboards.

$1.2 Million up for Grabs at PokerStars MI/NJ

The combined PokerStars prize pool in Michigan and New Jersey will get to compete for the overall guaranteed prize pool of $1,250,000. As is usually the case, there is something for everyone, as tournament buy-ins start as low as $5 and go up all the way to $1,000.

The Bounty Builder Series features mostly No Limit Texas Hold’em events with different structures (regular, turbo, and hyper-turbo). However, the operator has added some variety to the schedule, throwing in a few PLO, No Limit Omaha, 2-7 Single Draw, and even Badugi tournaments.

The Main Event features a $300 buy-in and it will be a two-day affair, with Day 1 playing out on February 25. There is a hefty guarantee of $200,000 attached to the Main Event, and the slow structure with 12-minute levels will ensure participants get plenty of play.

A Cool Million Guaranteed in Pennsylvania

For PokerStars players in Pennsylvania, the Bounty Builder Series brings a slightly smaller but still quite attractive guarantee of $1,000,000 across the board.

Of that number, $175,000 will go towards the $300 Main Event, which, just like in MI/NJ, takes place on February 25 – 26.

The buy-in range is similar as well, with the lowest tournament coming in at $5 and the highest one costing $1,000 to enter. Coming between these two extremes are many events with buy-ins between $10 and $200, with another $500 event thrown into the mix.

In addition to Hold’em, players in PA will have their chance to try their skills in game variations like Badugi, PLO, Single Draw, and 5 Card Pot Limit Omaha.

Solid Guarantees and a KO Leaderboard to Spice Things Up

While the two Main Events feature the biggest guarantees, there are many more valuable tournaments on the schedule featuring solid five-figure guarantees.

Lower buy-in events have somewhat smaller guarantees as PokerStars US didn’t go crazy with this series, but progressive knockouts should more than make up for it, generating a lot of action and offering some big prizes long before the final table.

To add some spice to the Bounty Builder Series, the operator has also introduced a KO Leaderboard, which will be based purely on the number of KO’d players.

While there are no additional details, it seems that it will be one leaderboard across all buy-ins, incentivizing players to play as many tournaments as possible.

As always, PokerStars US will host a variety of satellites prior to and during the series, giving you a chance to get your Main Event seat at a big discount, so keep your eyes peeled for those and don’t miss out on all the crazy KO action coming to Pennsylvania, Michigan, and New Jersey the second half of February.
