Just months after its global launch, WPT Global is launching its first major tournament series with some extremely interesting highlights, the most peculiar of which will be the $1 for $1,000,000 tournament which is guaranteed to offer massive value to all entrants.
Yet, the $1 buy-in tournament with a million dollar guarantee is just one of the events on the schedule for the Summer Festival, which kicks off today (June 20) and will keep running until August 22.
Texas Hold’em, PLO, and Short Deck Hold’em aficionados will have plenty of chances to compete, with buy-ins ranging from just $1 all the way up to $330 for the Main Event.
Not only is Summer Festival guaranteed to be one of the most attractive online tournament series this year, but WPT Global is also giving away plenty of extra value on top of the guaranteed prize pools.

WPT Global Summer Festival Highlights
The Summer Festival will feature dozens of events over the course of a month, but a few of those will be attracting significantly more attention than others.

The $220 Opener with a $250k guarantee, the $220 PKO Championship with a $300k guarantee, and the $220 PLO Championship with a $150k prize pool are among other notable events.

WPT Tournament of Champions Seats Up for Grabs
To sweeten the pot, WPT Global are awarding all event winners with an opportunity to play for their place at this year’s $15 million guaranteed WPT Tournament of Champions, which will be played at the Wynn in Las Vegas in December.
All players who win a Summer Festival event will automatically be entered into a freeroll tournament, with two top finishers earning a spot in the prestigious Tournament of Champions.

All who fall short of the win but manage to cash a Summer Festival event will be entered into a separate freeroll, where dozens of prizes will be paid out in the form of tournament tickets.
