Although we’re still waiting for the full schedule for the 2024 World Series of Poker, dates for the marquee tournament that is the Main Event have been known for a while now. And now, players can also win their Main Event seats via online qualifiers running at WSOP US.

The satellites are available across all WSOP online platforms, with players in New Jersey, Nevada, Michigan, and Pennsylvania having a weekly shot at their seat at the table.

With several months still to go before the Main Event gets underway, these tournaments represent a great opportunity to try and get involved at a serious discount, even if you have to take a few shots to get there.

$250 Satellites Every Sunday

WSOP.com Main Event satellites take place every Sunday at 7 p.m. local time, and the buy-in is just $250. One seat is guaranteed in every event, and tournaments only need eight registered players to get underway.

The late registration and reentries in these $10,000 Main Event satellites are available for 130 minutes, so if you happen to bust early on, you can enter again without giving up much equity instead of having to wait for the next week.

In the unlikely event the tournament doesn’t reach the minimum number of players required to start, you won’t be refunded the entry. Instead, there will be a random draw where one player will receive the entire prize pool.

This is an interesting approach and may not be to all players’ liking, so if you have a problem with it, you’re best off waiting for enough players to register before getting involved.

Players who win the seat will still have the option to unregister from the Main Event. However, there are no cash alternatives available. You’ll receive tournament credits that can only be used to enter other World Series of Poker events.

Rebuy Feeder Satellites Available

While $215 is much cheaper than $10,000, the full satellite buy-in may still be out of many players’ bankrolls. Luckily, there are feeder satellites running around the clock, where you can win a seat in the $215 main satellite.

These are $10 super-turbo rebuys, so you should still set aside a few bullets, but they certainly provide an opportunity to get involved with the action at an even bigger discount or make better use of your bankroll if the super-turbo format is your forte.

Either way, putting some money and effort towards winning the 2024 Main Event seat is a good decision, no matter how you look at it. This is by far the softest $10,000 event on the yearly schedule, and if the last year is any indicator, the tournament will feature a huge prize pool.

For now, WSOP.com has announced these satellites will run until Sunday, February 25. There will certainly be more online opportunities later down the line, but if you’d like to be one of the first players to secure your Main Event seat in 2024, you should give these a shot.
