Exposed Cards

Exposed cards in poker are cards that have been inadvertently or deliberately shown before a showdown. If this happens intentionally, it is a prohibited action that will be penalized according to the casino or poker room’s rules.

Exposed Cards Poker Example:

The most common example of when a card can get exposed is during the deal when the dealer makes a mistake and accidentally shows a card. When this happens, the dealer will take this card out of the play for the ongoing hand.
