Shorthanded

The poker term shorthanded is used for any poker table with six players or less. In 6-max poker, any less than six players is considered shorthanded. The number of players at the table can have a big impact on strategy and should always be considered.

Shorthanded Poker Example:

If you are playing a nine-handed game and two players cash out while another one decides to take a break, your table will be shorthanded until it fills up again.
