How Much Does Jason Koon Earn

Once upon a time, there was a poker boom. This is how the fairytale of poker in Germany could start. A few years ago, a small sports TV channel started reporting about and broadcasting poker tournaments, which kicked off a boom that can still be felt today.

More and more people in Germany started to follow poker or even to play themselves, for example, with money they received from a 5 euro no deposit bonus. There are even a few German players, who can be considered as one of the best in the world.

Today we would like to take a closer look at one specific player who is a true legend. Can such phrases be used for someone still actively playing and only 38? Yes, absolutely, because Jason Koon is just that good.

Maybe he doesn’t get the attention he deserves because he only won one World Series of Poker title. Who knows, because in the end, all that matters is the money one has in his bank, isn’t it? With that in mind, we will answer for you today how much Jason Koon has in his bank.

A Closer Look – Who Is Jason Koon?

Let’s start by getting to know who is behind the price money, titles, bracelets, and winnings. Jason Koon was born on August 14th, 1985, in Weston, West Virginia.

Before Koon became a gifted professional poker player, he already used one of his other gifts. Koon was an intelligent kid who graduated from Lewis County High School with flying colors in 2003.

After graduation, he went straight to West Virginia Wesleyan College in Buckhannon. Koon went all the way and graduated with a master's degree in Business Administration and Finance.

That same smart kid is now married to his long-life wife, Bianca Armstrong, whom he met during his college days on the track and field team. They married in 2019, have two sons, and live in Sin City, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Jason Koon must have asked himself how to choose an online casino. Because this is where he started his poker career, his answer was Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars. From 2006 until 2011, Koon won around 2.2 Million US dollars on both platforms.

He even placed himself within the Top 40 in the PokerStake rating and won a tournament that earned him $300,000.
