Italian Poker Cash Games Collapsed 7% in November – Here is How the Main Operators Have Divided the Market

The downward trajectory of online poker cash games in Italy continues, marking a noteworthy trend in the industry. In the just-concluded month – as reported by the specialized Italian magazine Agimeg.it – the sector witnessed a total expenditure of 5.3 million euros, reflecting a 7% decline compared to the 5.7 million euros spent in November 2022.
At the forefront of this competitive landscape is Pokerstars, although it has experienced a reduction in market share. Moving from over 40% in November of the previous year to 39% in November 2023, the platform witnessed a decrease of 3.2%.
On the flip side, there has been a remarkable surge in the market share of Lottomatica, which has doubled from 9.1% to an impressive 18.1% – also thanks to the recent acquisition of SKS365.
Other notable performers include E-Play24 (+3.3%), Newgioco (+12.7%), Vincitù (+8.7%), and Sportbet – thanks also to new trending brands and skins such as Fullslot (+21%).
