A horn bet is a bet on a specific number on the next roll of the shooter. It is a one time bet that attempts to predict the exact number that would be rolled by the shooter. Horn bets can be placed on any two out of four numbers, which are 2, 3, 11, and 12 (these are known as horn numbers).

Furthermore, craps rules allow players to place horn bets on all four numbers, but the value of the stake will be divided into four places. For example, if you place a $100 craps horn bet on all four numbers, then the bet is split into $25 per number.

Numbers with a low probability of occurring have higher odds in a horn bet but they are extremely risky. Here is a payout table showing what players should expect from each horn bet:

Horn Number Probability Payout
2 2.78% 30:1
3 5.56% 15:1
11 5.56% 15:1
12 2.78% 30:1
All four 16.66% 30:1 or 15:1
2 or 12 5.56% 30:1
3 or 11 11.12% 15:1
