What is no commission baccarat? No commission baccarat is a variant of baccarat that does not require the player to pay the 5% commission on banker bets. This variation of the game gives a payout of 1:2 on winning banker hands. No commission baccarat has the same odds and payouts with regular baccarat, with the exception of the 5% vig. There is also a lucky 6-side bet available that pays out when the banker wins with a hand, totaling 6. If the hand is made of two cards totaling 6, the payout is 12:1, and if the hand is made of three cards totaling six, the payout is 20:1.
No commission baccarat has the same side bets available as in the regular baccarat game. The house edge for no commission baccarat is 1.458% for the 8-deck variant and 1.454% for the 6 deck variant. In addition, the player has a 44.62% chance of winning, while the banker bet will win 40.47%. The game will end in a tie 9.51% of the time. These odds are different from a regular game of baccarat because of the change in vig payment.
Before playing no commission baccarat, players should ensure that they are aware of the changed odds in the game. In traditional baccarat, the banker bet has the upper hand but it's not the same in no commission baccarat. Due to the removal of the vig, player bets have the upper hand. The payout on banker bets are also slightly different as it pays out 0.5:1 in regular baccarat and 1:1 in no commission baccarat. A large percentage of the house edge in regular baccarat is because of the vig paid, which has been removed in this version.
