GGPoker Adds Extra Value: Parlay Your Vegas Winnings at WSOP Paradise

It’s been one of the best years in the history of World Series of Poker (WSOP) as attendance records were broken with thousands of players showing up in Las Vegas to play the Main Event and dozens of other bracelet events alike.

As the Series wound down, WSOP and GGPoker announced the launch of WSOP Paradise, the first-ever WSOP festival set in the Bahamas.

Now, with just weeks left until festivities start, the Series has announced a brand new promotion, in addition to all the ones they have been running in the months leading up to the event.

The “WSOP Paradise Parlay” funded by GGPoker targets mostly professional players, giving them an extra reason to head out to Paradise Island.

WSOP Paradise Parlay offers anyone who collected 10 WSOP cashes, three WSOP final tables, or two WSOP bracelets between WSOP in Las Vegas and Paradise this year a chance to get their hands on some extra cash, as advertised here by Alexandra Botez:

Win $5k to $100k in Extra Value at WSOP Paradise

The brand new WSOP Paradise Parlay promotion was announced by WSOP just recently and is being fully sponsored from GGPoker’s promotional fund.

The operator has confirmed none of the money will be coming out of any prize pools, in response to recent controversies regarding other promotional offers.

Instead, GGPoker will be paying players out of its own pocket if they can accomplish one of three difficult feats come December.

The three possible prizes you could win include:

• $5,000: 10 Total WSOP Cashes across WSOP and WSOP Paradise
• $25,000: 3 Total Final Tables across WSOP and WSOP Paradise
• $100,000: 2 Total WSOP Bracelets across WSOP and WSOP Paradise

To make things clear, the operator has indicated that players will have to accomplish at least one part of each feat in both of the venues, and that prizes cannot be combined.

So, in order to win the $100k prize, a player must win at least one bracelet in both Las Vegas and Paradise this year, and the same goes for the other two prizes.

This means the promotion won’t benefit players who did not play or make the money in any of the live WSOP events this summer, but all those who did have a reasonable chance of making some extra dough on top of their WSOP winnings.

It is worth noting that none of the online events played this summer will count towards the promotion, which may come as a bit of a disappointment to some players.

Yet, if you did make a trip out to Vegas this summer and had some success, this is an ideal opportunity to build on that success and parlay it into up to $100k in extra prize money.

Poker Pros Rejoice with the Opportunity

It was all good news for the dozens of poker pros out there who played this year’s WSOP and who may or may not have planned to fly out to the Bahamas for WSOP Paradise.

While the promotion came at last second, after many well-known players had already announced their intention to make the trip, it also made a few players reconsider their plans.

One such player was Allen “Chainsaw” Kessler who had quite an eventful summer in Vegas this year, and who may be considering going to Paradise for the added value.

Allen, who is known for his tendency to take free value whenever he can find it, was happy to see WSOP and GGPoker put the promotion together, and commented via his Twitter profile:

Kessler’s 15 live cashes in Vegas may have been the most for the Series, but the likes of David Williams also came pretty close.

The 43-year-old pro from Arlington had nine live cashes and two final tables at the WSOP, which means he just needs to add one of each to win up to $25,000 in extra cash.

While this may not seem like a lot of money considering some of the stakes these players play for, $25k in extra value certainly seemed like a great deal to David who confirmed his attendance and commented:

So one cash in Bahamas = 5k and one FT = 25k instead of the 5k? This correct! Wow if so. See ya there!

The two were joined in enthusiasm by the likes of Jonathan Little, Ryan Reiss, and Main Event champion Daniel Weinman who even made a joking remark asking GGPoker what they would pay out if he won both Main Events.

With dozens of big-name pros already confirming their attendance at the inaugural WSOP Paradise, we are in for quite a spectacle, and the first cards will be in the air on Sunday, December 3.
